8 Investment Pieces Every Lady Should Own

The key to achieving that classic, effortless style is to invest in good quality, versatile pieces. This ensures that you get the most wear out of your clothing.  I cannot explain how many things in my wardrobe I had to constantly change because I would rather spend my money on a cheaper item with lower quality. Here are a few pieces I believe every lady should invest in.  

1. Little Black Dress

This piece was introduced to the world by Coco Chanel in the 1920's, and has been a women's wardrobe staple ever since because it gives a woman a sense of effortless elegance. When choosing your little black dress, ensure that the design is versatile so that you can get the most out of it. You can do this by choosing conservative necklines such as a scoop or high neck because these designs are easy to transition from day to night. 

2. Nude and Black Patent Pumps

Once you have a black and nude heel, you can pretty much pair them with anything. From your hectic schedule at work straight to happy hour with your friends. It's best to ensure that you have good quality shoes; otherwise you will forever be replacing them. My personal choice would be a heel with a pointed toe; however the almond toe can also work. 

3. A Black Pants Suit

Everyone needs a black suit. You never know when you will need to go to a meeting, job interview, or any other professional setting. 

4. A Leather Jacket

Add a touch off edge to your ensemble with one of these. Whether you prefer black, brown, or another color; the choice is yours. As mentioned before, good quality always lasts longer.

Finding the right handbag takes some research. What is it that you want in an everyday handbag?
